Edna and Wilmer Kearns established a flower nursery at Echo Dale!

On the way to the victory of the passage and ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment in 1920, the Kearns family planned to leave New York and return to Echo Dale, the Buckman family home outside of Philadelphia. That’s where their second child was born—Wilma—my mother.
