When my grandfather Wilmer told me the love story, at age ten I was paying attention. Granddaddy was my “go to” place to find out about my grandmother Edna who died before my birth. Find out about the Spirit of 1776 wagon, now in the collection of the New York State Museum in Albany, NY. My grandmother Edna used the wagon in suffrage storytelling.
